Hello readers,
During my great experience with Classroom Energy Diet Challenge I have learned and taught so many new things and for this week's post I'm going to take a moment to talk about my experience. I have learned that approximately 40 percent (3.7 billion) of people die of worldwide pollution a year! That's way too many and sadly it's all because of us.
After hearing this upsetting fact I took a moment to research this topic and learn as well as refresh my mind to facts I already knew in order to lower that 40%. Even 39% is an improvment. I know that hybrids and electric cars are both environmentally friendly. Even better than that, we can walk to school or walk to places that are close to you such as the park or the store with your parent or parents. Always remember to recycle! Recycling is one of the most effective solutions to pollution. Also, conserve energy when possible, it also can make a difference in air pollution the most.
I feel good about what I've done because I have taken part in about 3 challenges so far and done quite a bit in each challenge. I have done get growing, what's for lunch and this one, tips, tricks and announcements.
I am so happy that we, students have the opportunity to learn about all the pollution on our planet an how to prevent it.
I think that if everyone cleaned up after themselves we could live in a clean environment. I am going to so you should to!
I enjoyed doing this project because it makes people aware that we are polluting and that it needs to stop now! The only annoying part was when everyone who walked past my computer and said, "what's that", and I would have to explain that it is a blog for The Energy Diet Challenge.
That's the end of my interview, so remember, composting and recycling are the right things to do!
