Hey Room 31!
Let's start off this post with a warm song,
Tune: Cup Song by Anna Kendrick
I've got some paper for the P.D. day,
Yet I don't know what craft to do,
Throw my paper in the garbage,
Be a poor sport all day long,
'cause I don't know what craft to do.
Don't be a downer! Make some crafts with the help of this week's post!
DIY ECO-FRIENDLY PROJECTS! Yay! Why should we make eco-friendly crafts? Well, because 1.2 million pieces of paper are thrown away each year! So by reusing objects to make eco-friendly crafts we could make a huge difference.

This is the first craft I'm going to teach you. This is called Eco-Boats!
Before you start make sure you have all the supplies! You will need:
-Glass soup plate
-Water
-Walnut shells
-Leaves (that have already fallen off the tree)
-5-10cm twig
-Play-Doh
1) Fill up your soup plate with water (not too much water, just a tad bit is fine)
2) Grab a walnut shell and put a clump of Play-Doh inside
3) Jab the twig into the Play-Doh
4) Pull the twig through the leaf
5) Put your new Eco-Boat in the water
6) Done! Now add as many boats as you'd like, and try to make new combinations, like using paper instead of leaves and draw shapes on the paper

-Ruler
1) Get your milk boxes and glue you fabric on each side (looks best with different fabric on each house)
2) Measure the slanted side of the milk box that we'll use as the roof
3) Then cut out squares of paper that are the same size
4) Decorate the paper with things like squiggly lines and squares like roofs
5) Now glue the paper on the rooftop
6) Cut out things like windows, doors etc.
7) Glue them onto the boxes
8) Glue all the boxes together
9) Place the car in front of the boxes
10) Now you have your craft
